What the estimate includes
- Tear-off and disposal, including additional layers.
- Shingles, wood shakes or tile, with the waste factor you choose (10% or 15%).
- Felt or underlayment, ice and water shield, sheathing replacement or renailing.
- Drip edge, step flashing, roll flashing, valley metal and ridge cap.
- Pipe jacks, vents, chimneys, skylights and satellite dish detach and reset.
- Gutters, downspouts and guards when they are part of the loss.
- Dumpsters, permits and extra labor hours when you list them.
- Overhead and profit at 10% each, if you want them.
What to send us
- The property address.
- Roofing material, warranty level and number of layers to remove.
- Counts for pipe jacks, vents, chimneys and skylights.
- Photos of each slope and any damaged areas, or an adjuster estimate to extract from.
- Your own measurements, if you already have a report.
